I'm Russell Wiener, and one of my great passions is camp music! I can still remember the names of the songleaders at my Jewish daycamp when I was a kid, and now I've been working at summer camps for over a decade, as a teacher, music director, and tech director.

My speciality is helping camps develop curriculum for music activities - from rock band and recording studio, to songwriting, guitar building, and beyond - whether giving kids their first musical experience with friends, or developing the skills of campers who already have a music background. I also focus on managing staff, who are often of varying skill levels, to hone and improve their skills interacting and instructing campers. Along with this, I help camps improve on their musical equipment and audio set-ups, maximizing whatever budget they have to suit the needs of their expanding programs.

When I'm not at camp, I work in Los Angeles as a music producer and engineer, and production manager of major concert events. I've had the good fortune of working with some incredible talents - I am a studio manager and chief engineer for David Pack of the huge 70's/80's band Ambrosia, and I production-manage his live events.

Along the way I've done session and live work with legends like Alan Parsons, Ray Manzarek of the Doors, Steve Perry of Journey, Gary Wright, and many more.

I am also a composer of TV and film music, and I produce albums for budding local talent at my LA studio.

And I have been performing my own music on stage, and recording in studio, for over a decade. My most recent band project is The Title Trackers, a loving parody of the artists that influenced me the most. Our debut album has garnered significant sales and reviews.
